WELCOME
Welcome to the Theta Omicron Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi. We were granted a charter on November 17, 2007 at the University of Nevada, Reno. The Theta Omicron chapter is a brotherhood which consists of campus leaders, athletes, scholars, and well-rounded gentlemen. We proudly distinguish ourselves on being the men of CLASS and is a non-hazing, diverse, and chivalrious fraternity.

Congratulations to Pi Kappa Phi, Theta Omicron Chapter's newest class, Beta! They all have gone through a long associate membership process where they learned our history, our values, and our beliefs and we proudly introduce four men that fully embody everything Pi Kappa Phi represents. The Beta class went through a week of initiation and came out as a men of CLASS. While many have pledged to our fraternal order, only four have lasted long enough to now be called a Pi Kappa Phi.
Welcome Brothers, your journey to brotherhood has been reached.
Beta Class:

From April 5 through April 8 the brothers of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity sponsored their Second Annual No Boundries Week. The goal of the week was threefold, fundraising, volunteerism and awareness. Through our Penny Wars we sought to raise enough money to buy an adaptive tricycle for the students at the Marvin Picollo School, a school designed for people with disabilities. The main event, the 72 Hour Cycle-a-thon, was a huge success! We had bikes continuously running for 72 hours straight, with the goal to rack up enough miles to make it across America, taking the same route as Push America's Journey of Hope , where the men of Pi Kappa Phi ride their bicycles across America every summer. Through bringing awareness of people with disabilities we helped the Special Olympics in their campaign to Spread the Word to End the Word collecting pledges of support from over 150 people to end the use of the “R” word in casual conversation.
Throughout the week there was a competition between organizations on campus with total miles cycles, the Penny Wars, and turning in pledges to stop saying the "R" word all counting towards points. We want to thank all the organizations who participated. Thank you Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta, Phi Delta Theta, Sigma Nu, and Tau Kappa Epsilon for their participation and support!
With all the points counted, the winner of this year's No Boundries Week is Delta Gamma with 18,147.15 points that is 407.04 miles collectively cycled!
Congratulations to Kappa Alpha Theta for cycling 340.9 miles and winning second place with 17,013.5 points!
Congratulations to Tau Kappa Epsilon for cycling 256.94 miles and winning third place with 7600.2 points!

This year marks the first Pi Kappa Phi Wine Tasting Event, and we are proud to say that it was a huge success! The event was masterfully executed by our fundraising chair Joe Linscott, along with all the gentlemen of the Theta Omicron Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi.
Along with the Wine Tasting event, we also held our first Parent's Weekend. This event was also a success, thank you to all the parents who took time out to come meet the fraternity and our brother's parents. We all hope to see you again at the next Parent's Weekend.

This past weekend at Camp Harmon was a huge success! Six of our brothers went over to California along with brothers from all over the west coast for GAP Weekend (Give-a-Push Weekend), and did service work for Camp Harmon, a camp for disabled children. There we reinstalled benches in the amphitheater (the old ones were rotting away) and constructed a horse mounting ramp for people in wheel chairs.
After the hard day's work, all the Pi Kapps spent the evening with the children, playing games such as pass the orange and painting a member from each team. Almost every brother there was their first time at a GAP weekend, and every single one of them said it was one of the best weekends of their lives.

Over winter break, 9 of our brothers went to the Mid Year Leadership Conference in Saint Louis, Missouri. While at the conference, they learned how to effectively carry out their elected positions and how to become a stronger leader. Each will take back to the chapter what they learned and the chapter will become even stronger because of it.
The trip was a blast, and we all look forward to going back again next year.
